Once A Life Time Opportunity - BVV Auction Units Open For Sales

The JMB wishes to make a few announcements pertaining to units which are to be auctioned off at Bay View Villas. These units are to be auctioned on a “as is where is” basis and some of them are very good buys. For those who are interested in buying these units, the JMB has prepared this short notice to help them make an informed decision. After meeting up with Encik Omar from Ambank, prospective purchasers are advised to follow the following steps :

a) Do your own investigation on the unit(s). Here the JMB can help prospective buyers.

b) A letter of undertaking will be prepared by Ambank, which the prospective buyer would have to pursue.

c) The prospective buyer would have to pay 10% of the auction price and the bidding date would be announced by the registered auctioneer.

d) Lawyers from the bank will proceed to do the necessary paperwork and advertise it in the papers. And if all goes well the process will take about 2 to 3 weeks.


The list of units to be auctioned can be found as download in this website, with the respective outstanding maintenance fees / arrears. This fee can be negotiated with the JMB.

NOTICE TO THE OWNERS OF UNITS IN BAY VIEW VILLAS CONDOMINIUM (“BVVC”)

1. As you are aware, the BVVC Joint Management Body (“JMB”) / Joint Management Committee (“JMC”) was formed on 10 May 2008. Henceforth, the management and maintenance of BVVC has been handed over to the elected Committee Members of the JMB BVVC by the Liquidators.

2. In view of the above, we have opened a current account with AmBank (M) Berhad under JMB Bay View Villas Condominium – Maintenance (“JMB BVVC – MAINTENANCE”) for banking-in all monies received in respect of service charges, incidental charges and other remittances from unit owners and/or for disbursement of all expenses relating to the management and/or maintenance of Bay View Villas Condominium.

3. The collection of service and other charges is the ONLY source of revenue to pay for expenses incurred to manage the premises, including but not limited to water and electricity consumption, security, cleaning, swimming pool maintenance, lift, electrical and mechanical system maintenance and staff salary.

4. Therefore, on behalf JMB/JMC BVVC, we appeal to all owners to play their part by promptly paying for service and other charges due. By doing so, it will help us to help you to manage your premises and investment better.

5. With immediate effect, all your Cheque / Bank Draft in respect of the above payable to “JMB BVVC – MAINTENANCE” .

6. Lastly, rest assured that monies received will solely be used to pay for expenses incurred at the premises and will be properly accounted for and audited by Independent Auditors.

7. For those Owners who have done so, we extend our sincere thank you and look forward to having your continued support.
